Afterthought on The Fool's Paradise

"The thinking Adam was not suicidal,
Yet he freely fed on the poisonous apple.
Like us Sinners.

The Poison molecule is not venomous,
Yet "that which kills" equals "Poison".
Like a Hangman.

(The phenomenon of Man is such
That death is his completion.)
Till then we play the merry-go-round
And keep our faculties busy.

How unfortunate (it seems) and wondrous
That there's no way out of it.

If only one could transcend meaning ?
Thus, one would attain
That which the dear Fool is blessed with.
That which language ought not express
And logic may not explain."
