The Silence of Loneliness

What breaks when
Not much does break,
But Silence when it makes
Silence in its wake ?

What breaks then
When not much does break,
As more silence bakes
More silence barren ..

It makes you wonder
If the cracked bell should ring.
Will the crack get worse
Upon ringing ?
Maybe it holds together
Through the flawed ringing ?
Surely a crash altogether
If left idle too long.

But then Breakage
and Dying are inevitable
Of course; irrespective of the pieces,
cracks and hopelessly hopeful life
left behind. Same holds
For the nation, the ideology,
even civilization, culture and friends

Or to bring home the point maybe,
that basic unit of the family ....
